Boat trip with sound installation
"Solar Boat" is a sound installation for the Ria Formosa lagoon, Faro, Portugal.
A psychic boat trip between Faro and the Desert Island.
Gathering a set of contributions, the audio work is composed of sound excerpts from conversations, overdubbed, edited and distorted into a new stereo sound track.
The work, gently described both as emotional and terrifying, is set to create a link between physical and psychological landscapes, between the living and the dead, human and non-human.
