  • EMPORIO is a 90-minute durational audiovisual installation operating within the rift between historical and private collapse.

The work originates from the personal archives of J. and S., serving as a raw testament to the cathartic function of video. At the heart of this magnetic archaeology, 9/11 ceases to be a media event, becoming instead the background noise of a psychological portrait of grief.

  • Through the unstable texture of a VHS archive, the image captures the suspension of a daily life fracturing under the weight of trauma, inscribing individual pain onto the cold surface of the screen.

Between the confessional whisper and the monumental scale of the projection, EMPORIO remains as a testimony to fragility: a place where the time of mourning resists the pressure of History, and where memory attempts to survive the indifference of the spectacle.

Musa paradisiaca is a collaborative art practice exploring sculpture, installation and interdisciplinary projects. We work collectively to create experiences that blur boundaries between mediums, ideas and audiences.
