“An animal with a backpack” (Musa paradisiaca, 2020) is the first edition by EMPTYCUBE_reader, a project curated by João Silvério, with the support of Galeria Quadrado Azul.
The result of a collaboration with Ana Baliza, Hugo Amorim (MeelPress) and João Carlos Costa, the limited edition of 20 numbered copies consists of an LP, 5 series of 4 engravings and a printed brochure.
With soundtracks by Nada T. Roberts and Elato. The installation at Galeria Quadrado Azul, in Lisbon, brought together the complete edition.
Musa paradisiaca is a collaborative art practice exploring sculpture, installation and interdisciplinary projects. We work collectively to create experiences that blur boundaries between mediums, ideas and audiences.
