Animal-house is an ontologically unstable construction. Right away, by the title that names it. Its defining characteristics (…) place it in the territory of various possibilities — a house, a stage, a monument, a sculpture, a chapel, a stable — which (…) attribute a statute of conditional form to it (…). A space of confluence (…). How much animal is there in us? How much human is there in an animal? And this reconciliation (…) resumes (…) its materialization as a hybrid form. Hybrid to the scale of construction, suitable for both human and animal, which imposes a shared perception of habitability and coexistence (…). Like a home.

David Revés

While housing events proposed through an open call, Animal-house is a sculpture-monument-stage to be constantly redefined by its occupants.
